- I think the felines really suits him…his character/demeanor (graceful but deadly, stalking and observing the target before attack, can be cuddly or sleazy in good days but can be fierce with no mercy to the prey) and his design of outfit’s theme (spots) / colours (yellow-black of a Bengal tiger pre-timeskip and all-black of a panther post-timeskip..with white spotty hat of a snow leopard)/ materials (black fur coat, white fur hat).
- No wonder Japanese love to draw him with all sort of feline appandages (or with the animal that shares his namesake XD)
- It suits the animal theme of SHICHIBUKAI too (I wonder if Oda already planned this status for him since day one of his creation XD)
